The Yamamoto PsychoDad is a soft plastic crawfish imitation lure that displays the ideal action and profile to draw strikes from bass in all types of conditions. Comprised of a compact, solid soft plastic body, the PsychoDad possesses the ideal amount of bulk in the butt section to hold heavy wire punching hooks in place even when pitched into heavy vegetation. While the slim nature of the body may be the key to getting the bait down through the cover to the fish below, the unique claw design is responsible for enticing them to bite. Engineered with a round shape, the claws of the Yamamoto PsychoDad paddle and kick as they descend through the water much like a swimbait tail. Whenever you "pump" or "hop" the bait the claws will flutter and flare out moving water as they move.
Another feature exclusive to the PsychoDad is the built in rattle chamber which easily holds a 7mm glass rattle and won't interfere with the hook's positioning whatsoever. Measuring 3.75" in length, the PsychoDad appeals to bass of all sizes and the vast array of detailed Yamamoto colors meets the needs of anglers all across the country. The bait was originally designed for the punching technique, and frankly that's the absolute best way to use it, but it will also catch fish when pitched and flipped or used on the back of a jig as a trailer.
The Yamamoto PsychoDad measures 3.75" in length and comes 5 per pack. It is best fished with a 4/0 straight shank punch hook.
