The "Ike Approved" series of hooks from VMC were designed with he help of 2003 Bassmaster Classic Champion Mike Iaconelli. The weedless wacky hook is designed for wacky worm techniques and features a light wire weedguard which keeps the worm from gathering grass or weeds. The Wacky Weedless Hook is a round bend, extra wide gap finesse hook complete with a wire weed guard that lays into the hook, allowing the bait and hook to seamlessly travel through vegetation. The use of a light wire was crucial in order to retain the soft plastic's natural falling action. Additionally, the light wire won't inhibit hook penetration. The hook's eye has been sealed with resin to eliminate any slippage or fray caused by the hook. We offer the VMC "Ike Approved" Weedless Wacky Hook in seven sizes: 4, 2, 1, 1/0, 2/0, 3/0 & 4/0.
