Displaying a short shank design, the VMC Flyliner Hook 7120 is a saltwater hook designed for fishing live bait without any weights. Fly-lining is a technique which allows live bait to swim around freely looking natural to hungry saltwater predator species of fish. VMC's Flyliner Hook offers just the right combination of attributes for this technique: it's light enough not to inhibit the baits movements, but strong and sharp enough to handle the job once the fish strikes. This 1X strong hook is forged from hi-carbon steel and has a needle point. Part of VMC's new Coastal Black series hooks made specifically for saltwater, with built-up layers of ultra-thin black finish to withstand the harsh conditions of the saltwater environment.
