Part stickbait, part swimbait; the Strike King Rage Cut-R Worm offers bass fishermen a completely new style of plastic worm that can be employed for a variety of techniques. Comprised of a solid, thick soft plastic body, the Cut-R Worm possesses a bulk not typically found in a soft plastic worm. The added weight serves to increases casting distance and enhance the action allowing anglers to fish it with or without a weight for techniques such as flipping, pitching, Texas or Carolina Rig or just cast and wind like you would a swimbait. This additional bulk also serves to hold the hook very well no matter what technique you choose to use. The thick stick bait body of the worm transitions to a uniquely shaped tail which provides the action for the soft plastic. Utilizing Strike King's Rage Tail technology, the Cut-R Worm displays a side to side kick swimming action that resembles that of a hollow body swimbait.
We really like this bait for scattered wood and docks where bass tend to be in several different depths and different feeding moods. An angler could pick apart a dock by first swimming the Cut-R worm around the pylons trying to ignite a reaction strike. Should that fail, the Cut-R can be pitched to individual pieces of wood or other structure on the dock in hopes of convincing stubborn lock-jawed bass to bite. Finally, when all the obvious locales have been hit, the Cut-R Worm can be skipped way back underneath into the darkest depths of the dock where only a precise cast can reach.
The Strike King Rage Cut-R Worm measures 6" in length and comes 7 per pack in several excellent colors.
