Utilizing a cobra shaped head, the Strike King Jointed Structure Head provides anglers with a new way to fish their favorite soft plastic baits. Similar in utility to the Biffle Hardhead, the Jointed Structure Head is comprised of a jig head with a jointed connection to the Z-bend black nickel hook that enables the attached plastic to swing back and forth side to side. Unlike your standard football jig heads, the Jointed Structure Jig allows the soft plastic bait to realize it's full potential creating an irresistible action that works in a number of conditions from shallow water to deep structure dragging.
If you're not familiar with Biffle Bug style jig heads, the technique is very versatile allowing anglers to fish the lure in a number of ways as they see fit. The same 1/2oz jig head and craw bait will be equally effective in shallow water with a steady retrieve through rocks and timber or dragged along the bottom over deep structural elements or depth changes. Anglers can also fish the presentation like a standard jig pitching toward targets and working it back with a mixture of hops, swimming and dragging.
