Spro Phat Fly
The Phat Fly is a finesse hair jig designed to mimic small species of baitfish that bass often feed upon. Working with big bass guru, Bill Siemantel, Spro developed the Phat Flies for the increasingly popular float and fly technique. The technique utilizes a fixed float or bobber with a "fly" suspended 6-10 feet underneath. The float and fly is used to target suspending bass which are keyed in on shad and often difficult to catch. When fishing gets tough, anglers may turn to this technique to more accurately mimic small species of shad. Not only designed to catch fish in the harshest conditions, Siemental designed the Phat Fly to catch big California trophy bass. Colors painstakingly matched to the most prevalent bait fish in North American waters. Perfectly balanced to sit horizontal under the bobber. Built with the worlds sharpest Gamakatsu hooks. Hair jigs like the Phat Fly are very effective at imitating shad due to the hairs natural appearance when placed underwater. We offer the Spro Phat Fly in two sizes: 1/16 and 1/8oz in several excellent colors. 2 per pack.
