Spro Little John MD Crankbaits
John Crews Medium Diving Crankbait
The Spro Little John MD
is a mid-depth
running crankbait that
replicates the size and action of several different types of forage fish
across the country. The bait shares its name with Elite Series
professional, John Crews, who worked with Spro to create what he
believes is the finest crankbait on the market. After a great deal of
angler feedback its becoming increasingly difficult to disagree with
that claim. The Spro Little John series of crankbaits has become the
go-to lure for anglers from California to Maine. The Spro Little John
Crankbaits are extremely effective at quickly covering water seeking out
active fish. The bait is a mid-depth running crankbait diving up to 9 feet.
The Spro Little John Crankbait was designed to withstand the numerous deflections
and hangups that are commonly experienced when targeting water that is
lined with structural elements such as rocks and wood. Deflecting the
bait off of those previously mentioned obstructions is the key to
generating the most strikes and in turn catching the most bass. Go ahead
and crash it into rock and wood and follow it up with a brief pause
before continuing your retrieve; the results will be incredible. The Medium Diving version of the Little John is really effective in the
post-spawn months when bass seek deeper water such as ledges, humps, and
islands. Often times, the key to catching a lot of bass is getting the
school fired up - this is one of the baits that has been found
successful in doing so. The Little John MD is 2.10" long and weighs
approximately 1/2oz with a diving depth of 7-9ft.
