This reel is premier. Premium drag /braking system and it's just as smooth as a gen 1 Curado. Shimano knocked it out of the park on this one.

My First Baitcaster January 18, 2018

Looks great and I'm trusting that it will work well. My fishing buddy has several Curado Is & loves them.
As others have mentioned, the brake wheel is recessed & hard to change & see. I'm hoping that I can work it OK when making lure brake adjustments - but it's only 20 degrees in MA right now.
