Designed to dive deep quickly, the Sebile Racer Crank is a deep diving crankbait that stays in the primary strike zone longer allowing fish to hunt it down. Constructed with a super long bill, the Sebile Racer Crank angles downward and propels itself to the bottom almost immediately as you begin your retrieve. Once it reaches its maximum diving depth, the Racer Crank hunts with an aggressive action all the while grinding over rocks, wood and grass presenting itself to the big bass lurking nearby. Engineered by legendary lure designer Patrick Sebile, this crankbait won't cause the fatigue many other deep diving crankbaits impart upon the anglers using them. Sure, if you toss a crankbait all day you are bound to be sore, but the Racer Crankbait alleviates the strain caused by the incessant pulling of the wider billed alternatives. Unlike most crankbaits, the Racer Crank possesses an external weighting system that affords great casting distance and that aggressive hunting action previously mentioned.
If you are familiar with Sebile products you know this bait is also unique because of it's reasonable price point. Sebile has long created the absolute finest lures he can with cost not coming into the equation. While you will still find the higher priced premium lures, Sebile re-concentrated their efforts on the everyday angler and chose more suitable components for lowering the cost. What's great about these baits however, is they are not cheaper versions of previously designed lures. Instead all of the action first lures were researched and developed with full knowledge of the materials so all baits were tuned and tinkered with to get the best results from the materials available. The results are phenomenal.
We offer the Sebile Racer Crank in the 3" - 5/8oz size which dive 10 - 15 feet. Available in many excellent colors.
