Engineered from 3D scans of real worms, the Savage Gear Armor Crawler takes soft plastic worm realism to another level in both its appearance and action. Constructed with a PVC reinforced body, the Armor Crawler incorporates nylon mesh from the head of the worm through the sex collar greatly increasing its durability. Plastic worms are typically very soft, supple and, unfortunately, fragile - the former two are part of their magic. Should a worm be too rigid it doesn't have the action we desire, therefore anglers have come to live with the downside of ripped and torn plastics. Savage Gear sought to bring the favorable attributes of soft plastic worms into a durable, long-lasting worm, and in the Armor Crawler they succeeded.
Infused with the perfect formulation of salt and iodine, this highly active worm delivers sufficient plastic to be rigged in any number of ways without ripping or lose its integrity. Savage Gear suggests using the worm as a wacky worm, but also offers that it will prove effective when rigged Texas style or on a shakey head among many other possible applications. We think it would make an excellent Neko rig or nail weight worm! This isn't a soft plastic worm you'll have to worry about tearing on every cast, it's very durable, yet still maintains the supple, soft nature we all want our plastics to possess.
The Savage Gear Armor Crawler is available in two sizes: 6.5" & 8" - both of which have a fairly large profile, larger than a Zoom Trick Worm. Quantity: 8pk.
