The Savage Gear 3D Suicide Duck is a topwater buzz/splashing style swimbait that delivers the profile of a real duckling with the water disturbance that will get the attention of any nearby predator. Through the years, Savage Gear has continually pushed the limits of realism with their lures designing swimbaits that are easily mistaken for the real thing. Their latest creation, the 3D Suicide Duck gives anglers a tool to match small ducks and birds that fall into the water and are attacked by big bass, musky, pike and stripers. Although the bait looks exactly like a duckling, we think you'll be surprised at the overall appeal it has as a general topwater lure.
The Savage Gear 3D Duck is engineered from a 3D scan of an actual duck and constructed from hard ABS plastic with dual rotation spinning feet. It is those uniquely designed feet that gives the bait it's gurgling and buzzing action at any speeds. Anglers can burn in the 3D Duck swimbait to appeal to predatory species need to feed or twitch and chug the bait to trick opportunistic fish into committing. While the 3D Duck is designed for all types of cover, the dual feathered trebles are best for open water. Should you need a more weedless approach, just remove the bottom hook and watch as the bait makes its way through trees, vegetation or other types of obstructions. The bait features really neat hook clips that keep your trebles in place while you are fishing it, but allow the hooks to swing free once the fish is hooked.
The Savage Gear 3D Suicide Duck is available in two sizes: D110 (4 1/4" - 1oz) and D150 (6" - 2 3/4oz) in three colors. Be on the lookout for a monster exclusive version coming soon.
