Picasso Double Barrel Underspin
The Picasso Double Barrel Underspin is a double bladed underspin style lure often used with soft plastic jerkbaits or swimbaits to increase their attraction in the water. The Double Barrel Spin was designed with 2010 FLW Championship winner Kevin Hawk, regarded as one of the top experts in the underspin fishing technique, an applications he relied upon to win the event at Lake Lanier. The underspin technique has been a huge player in many bass tournament victories over the past decade, however, despite the effectiveness many anglers have discussed ways of improving upon the design. Picasso has sought to increase the flash emitted by the blades by engineering a double bladed model. The Double Barrel Underspin features tungsten balls, which keep it running upright without rolling - an extremely important factor in the lure's effectiveness.
Picasso didn't just slap another blade on the existing design and call it a day, they engineered the blades to remain away from the head section reducing tangles and creating the optimal level of flash. The blades are positioned so they will not tangle on one another or foul up during the cast. The longer nickel titanium wires provide extra protections against getting hung up on bottom structure yet are soft enough to collapse on the strike assuring a good hook set. Constructed around Picasso's fish head jig head using Mustad Ultra Point hooks, the Double Barrel Underspin is the perfect compliment to a Zoom Fluke or Yamamoto D-Shad. Super tough duraseal paint coating to resist chipping.
We offer the Picasso Double Barrel Underspin in three sizes: 3/8oz - 4/0 Hook, 1/2oz - 5/0 Hook and 3/4oz - 5/0 Hook in six color options.
