Phenix Recon 2 766 June 22, 2015

I have bought a lot of rods in my life, including G-loomis, Fenwick, and Shimano. But after I bought my first Phenix rod, I knew there was no going back. The unparalleled lightness and sensitivity combined with amazing balance and great back bone make Phenix rods untouchable. I fish the CA Delta all the time and Phenix rods just do a better job wrestling giant largemouth out of the grass and tulles.

I'll be buying more. So far I really love this rod. The foam handle is a bit easier on my ribs on those punch hook sets. Quality components at a reasonable price.
