Lead River Weights

Lead River Weights are "Silver Dollar" shaped weights commonly employed for river fishing applications when targeting salmon and steelhead. The weights shape allows it to tumble along the bottom drifting along with the current and presenting bait or lures in the prime strike zone. We offer the Lead River Weights in 9 sizes: 1oz - 10oz.

MONEY SAVER! August 18, 2016
Reviewer: Hiram "Earl" Downey from Ridgely, Tennessee
I tried, like the previous reviewer "William" suggested, making a plug knocker. It works! I used a four ounce river weight with a #1 duolock snap, instead of the heavy gym clip. This is a great combination, that keeps me fishing, when I should be ordering more lures to replace the snagged ones. A GREAT REVIEW WITH PURPOSE! Keep those lures in the water and keep fishing!

Save those expensive lures !!! July 22, 2016
Reviewer: William from Thomaston, Georgia
Make a plug knocker. Simply add a heavy gym clip to the weights line tie. Then, when your lures hung on something solid, add this clip to a tight line. Drop the weight down the line to the snagged bait and "shake" free. This tip will definitely save you some money! Good Fishing!

Good and inexpensive February 14, 2016
Reviewer: casino11 from APO, AP United States
I use the 4oz to add weight to my Danielson Marker Buoy line.  The 6oz lead strip that comes with the buoy is not heavy enough to unspool the line all the way to the bottom.  Anyway, it's just a weight, good enough, cheap enough.
