Keitech Swing Impact 3.3 Fat Swimbait
New for 2014 comes the Keitech Fat Swing Impact 3.3", a soft plastic swimbait designed to replicate
the profile and movement of small forage fish that bass prey upon. After innumerable requests from anglers, Keitech finally gave in and created a happy medium between the 2.8 and 3.8 swimbaits - the 3.3" Swing Impact Fat your new go to for the Alabama Rig and as a chatterbait or jig trailer. For
several years the Keitech Swing Impact Swimbait was a secret of many
west coast anglers. Much to their dismay, the word has slowly spread
across the country and the results make this bait much more than idle
dock talk. The most common issue with most small profile paddle-tail
style swimbaits is the lack of tail kick produced by the bait when swam
at slow speeds; in other words the bait required a fast retrieve that is
not desirable when fishing swimbaits. The Swing Impact however, affords
the angler the ability to retrieve it at the slowest speeds and still
the wide tail-kick will be achieved. Even on the fall the tail has
incredible action. The ribbed or zippered style of the Keitech Swing
Impact and thin plastic connection to the tail are the two factors that
give this bait its unparalleled swimming action.
We offer the Keitech Swing Impact Fat 3.3" in all of the popular colors. Baits come 7 per pack.
Rigging the Keitech Swing Impact Fat 3.3"
The 3.3" Keitech Swing Impact Swimbaits can be rigged a number of ways. The first of
which is weightless with a wide gap swimbait hook for a really subtle
presentation. For added depths anglers will find belly-weighted swimbait
hooks, such as the Falcon Swimbait hook or Owner Beast hook, to be
very effective. Finally, simply attaching the bait to a swimbait jig
head will allow the angler to cover many depths - simply
calculate the rate of fall and count the bait down to the desired depth.
The Keitech Swing Impact Fat version is also a great bait for the Alabama Rigs that have taken
the country by storm. Additionally, the 3.3" size is absolutely ideal on the back of swim jigs or chatterbaits. Cutting the size down just a bit allows anglers to more accurately mimic the forage species present in most lakes. The difference between the standard Swing Impact baits and the Fat version is simply a wider head. The Fat version has a more pronounced head that drastically thins as it approaches the tail. Anglers across the country have embraced the
Keitech Swimbait due is variety of sizes, colors, and applicable fishing
techniques.
