Jewel Bait Hound Dog Lure Retriever

Fishing lures around heavy cover is a risk, but a necessary risk if you are trying to catch fish, it's where they live. With the Jewel Bait Hound Dog you can now fish free from worry as you retrieve your lure through trees, wood and other types of cover. Deriving its name from the dog shaped design, the Jewel Hound Dog Lure Retriever enters the heaviest cover and frees your lure from snags saving you countless money and time replacing your prized crankbait, jerkbait or swimbait. If you're an anglers who likes to toss out vintage Storm Wiggle Wart crankbaits you're definitely going to need a lure retriever by your side should the unthinkable occur. Same goes for your Megabass enthusiasts and Rago swimbait junkies - unless you're prepared to go for a swim, the Jewel Bait Hound Lure Retriever is a must have item.

How to use:

Attach a length of 100 lb.+ test nylon cord - you can find this at any hardware store and customize the length to suit the depths you fish most often - to the Hound Dog Lure Retriever. We prefer using an old broken flipping stick and large round reel as the apparatus for storing the line and controlling the hound dog as it seeks out your lure. Hold your snagged lure's rod tip slightly bent to keep tension on the line and slip the line between the rings and the body. Once properly connected, drop the Hound Dog Lure Retriever to the bottom, keeping rod tip bent. Still keeping rod tip bent, lift the cord and then drop cord and rod tip at the same time. Repeat until the lure is freed.
