First unveiled at ICAST 2014, the Jackall Scissor Comb is a unique soft plastic bait featuring a number of appendages that move through the water enticing big bass to come strike. Looking more like something you'd pull from your child's toy chest, the Scissor Comb is certainly a new concept in the bass fishing world. Constructed from a dense plastic, the Jackall Scissor Comb remains very durable even after a number of bass inhale it. The bulk of this soft plastic bait is located in the tail section where you'll most likely want to rig it up save for some extremely experimental anglers. Speaking of rigging, the Scissor Comb can be utilized for Texas rigs, nail weights, football head jigs or on a Jika Rig - all can and will be successful.
The majority of the action displayed by the Jackall Scissor Comb is derived from the long split tail which serve more as antennae than a traditional tail - thinking about it, this soft plastic resembles more of a freshwater prawn or praying mantis rather than anything typically native to freshwater lakes. It presents a large meal to big bass in a form they most definitely have yet to see. Japanese pro-staff have already found just how effective the Scissor Comb can be when facing pressures waters with big bass and we expect stateside anglers to experience much of the same. Interestingly, this bait is infused with a great deal of shrimp scent that will disperse throughout the water when fishing and increase the amount of time fish hold on.
The Jackall Scissor Comb measures 6" in length and comes 5 per pack in many excellent colors.
