The Jackall Chunk Craw is a soft plastic creature bait featuring a number of appendages that flutter and shake as the bait is moved through the water. Ideal craw-like creature bait for targeting big bass, the Jackall Chunk Craw is every bass fisherman's dream crawfish imitation bait. Comprised of a thick, central body section that serves as the foundations for just about any hook you wish to use with it; it can hold meaty flipping and punching hooks but also threads nicely on shakey heads. Due to the Chunk Craw's copious amount of appendages and arms, this soft plastic creature bait can be fished any number of ways. Let's start with, what we anticipate to be the most popular method, flipping and punching.
When you're fishing hard targets such as wood, docks or pilings, bass will often be sitting above the bottom suspended around whatever depth offers them the best ambush point. As a result, a bait with a lot of action will likely be your best bet and the Chunk Craw delivers that and more. Flip this bulky plastic in and the legs will swim down like ribbon tail worms. Once the craw reaches bottom, a few twitches of the rod's tip gets the other appendages moving ever so slightly to mimic crayfish or bluegill foraging around for food themselves. While truly thick matted vegetation is better suited for compact baits, when it comes to offshore grass or sparse vegetation, the Chunk Craw is going to be solid choice. As you work the bait through the grass beds, the appendages will move a ton of water and grab the attention of any nearby bass. Stained or dirty water is where you'll see the Jackall Chunk Craw shine - the excess water movement will play upon bass's lateral line sense and help them locate the intruding creature. Ultimately, the extra water displacement will produce more bites.
The Jackall Chunk Craw is available in two sizes: 3.5" and 4" in some really neat colors. Quantiy: 5pk.
