Biffle Hardhead Jig

Gene Larew Hardhead Jig

The Gene Larew Biffle Hardhead is a innovative, free moving jig head that when paired with a plastic trailer creates an entirely new technique. The Biffle Hardhead jig head is not just a lure, but a new technique in itself and was responsible for the Elite Series victory on Lake Ft. Gibson by angler Tommy Biffle. The standard method of use is a constant slow retrieval with intermittent deflections off of cover. Similar to a crankbait, the Biffle Hardhead will get bit most often as it runs into cover. Anglers have found many ways to utilize this innovative lure and the trailer options are infinite. We offer the Biffle Hardhead in the copper/black color and five sizes: 3/16, 5/16, 7/16, 11/16 and 1oz. The 3/16oz model features a 3/0 hook, the 1oz size features a 6/0 hook, and all others possess a 4/0. Each pack comes with two jig heads. Pair the hardhead with the Gene Larew Biffle Bug.

Biffle Bug With HardheadRigged on the Biffle Hard Head, the Biffle Bug transforms into an entirely different lure altogether. The hard head's free moving jointed design creates an action similar in many ways to a crankbait, but remains weedless and possesses more tail action that is far more natural. Additionally, the jointed head affords anglers the ability to fish the presentation through all types of cover banging the head off rocks and sticks while the trailing plastic swings independently. The image to the right shows the complete "Biffle-Buggin" rig. Note: the Biffle Bug plastics are sold separately..

Best Way to Fish a Bug September 17, 2016
Reviewer: Jason Duran from Starkville, MS United States
This is the best way to fish a Biffle Bug. It provides some great action because the head is free to move on the hook. You can shake it on the bottom like a shaky head or you can bounce it like a jig. If you have not tried thes your missing a great way to fish the Biffle Bug. You could also a fish it on a big worm for a deep structure presentation.

The swinging head allows for tons of action using the Biffle Bug.  Comes with a stout hook.  Looking forward to experimenting with this as a jig replacement.

Quick delivery and my product was in stock which was not the case at the first place I tried.  This will now be the first place I try for future orders.
