The Gambler Wrecking Ball is a football shaped weight designed to serve as a free-swinging jointed jig similar to other pivot heads on the market today; this "Skirt Collar No Hook" model allows anglers to choose their own hook for the job and add skirts to create a full swinging jig. If you've fished the jointed jig heads you are probably already aware of how effective they can be in a number of different scenarios - realistically, the possibilities of the technique are endless, but the components don't always enable as much versatility as anglers would like. In comes Gambler's new Skirt Collar No Hook Wrecking Ball which gives users all the power to create the perfect jig head for the job. Change the hook size to match the size of plastic, type of cover or just your preference - it's up to you. Additionally, with this skirt collar model anglers can add Gambler's Starflash Jig Skirts to the head to make their presentation a complete - free-swinging jig possessing the bulk that attracts strikes from big fish.
The Gambler Skirt Collar No Hook Wrecking Ball comes with just the weight. You'll need to get jig skirts and split rings to match up with the weights, we recommend Gambler's Starflash skirts and any size #3 split rings you like. First, take the skirt and fit it over the collar that extends from the weight. Make sure it's set in place and spread it out so the back eye section is exposed for attaching the split ring. Next, take the split ring and thread it through the back eye of the weight. Once your split ring is attached, choose the hook you'd like to use for your presentation and connect it to the split ring. Finally, choose whatever soft plastic bait you'd prefer, slide it into place and you're ready to fish.
We offer the Gambler Wrecking Ball Skirt Collar No Hook in five sizes: 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4 and 1oz. We also carry the standard Gambler Wrecking Ball and the Wrecking Ball No Hook (without skirt collar).
