The Gamakatsu Octopus Barbless Hooks are octopus style hooks without a barb designed to meet barbless regulations found in some regions. This hook has all the qualities of the standard Gamakatsu Octopus hook, but this model is manufactured without the barb. Gamakatsu designed these hooks to meet the needs of anglers who fish in bodies of water with hook regulations that prohibit the use of barbed hooks. Generally, the restrictions are put in place to aid catch and release efforts as barbed hooks can be difficult to remove and possibly increase the chance of fish mortality. We offer the red color of the Gamakatsu Octopus Barbless Hook in four sizes: 4 - 1/0. The bulk pack contains 100 hooks per pack.
