The Evergreen JT-95 is a topwater walking bait displaying a compact, slim body that skims and glides across the waters surface. Fishing topwater lures can be an absolute blast. The visual nature of the technique allows you to see the entire event take place from the seductive walking action to the heart-stopping blowups. Evergreen's JT-95 seeks to provide you with more of those thrilling experiences by making it easier to impart the walking action and delivering a more natural appearance.
Designed by western pro, Justin Kerr, the JT-95 is engineered to move side to side with shorter, more attention grabbing strides. The no-rattle configuration presents a more subtle offering that focuses on appealing to bass's keen vision and awareness of water disturbance. The JT-95 is constructed with more weight in the body than your normal topwater lure. This seemingly insignificant choice is crucial the bait's effeciveness. The added weight affords better castability and positions the bait lower in the water so the movements are more deliberate, fast and stimulating. Furthermore, when sitting still, the hooks sit further down in the water increasing your chances of hooking up. The three hook configuration is unique for such a small topwater lure. To accomplish this, Evergreen made small modifications to keep the hooks from swinging upward when in motion - instead they remain in place and ready to grab hold of fish swiping at the bait.
The Evergreen JT-95 measures 3 3/4" in length and weighs 3/8oz. The bait comes stock with (3) #8 treble hooks.
