The Nail'em Weights, from Eco Pro Tungsten, are tungsten nail sinkers which are often inserted into soft plastic baits in order to create custom sink rates and actions. Nail weights offer anglers the unique ability to modify lures to better suit their needs whether it be creating a faster rate of fall or an entirely new action. Nail weights adopt their name from hardware nails which were actual their cruder, elementary predecessor of these refined tungsten weights. While they may not have looked quite as pretty, the wood nails served their purpose and offered anglers unique actions including weighting the plastic to fall backwards into areas unreachable through an above surface cast. Eco Pro Tungsten developed these tungsten nail weights with a sleeker, more compact profile that offers a heavier weight in a smaller size. The weights still possess a point on one end which is pushed into the plastic until the weight is fully inside. You'll notice the small barbs on each side - those are in place to keep the weight from sliding out during use and really help save some money. Anglers have found a number of uses for these weights, but perhaps the most popular is inserting the weight into a wacky Senko for a completely unique action. Other uses include inserting the Nail'em weights into the tail of an otherwise weightless plastic and allowing it to slide backwards through the water away from the direction of the cast - that proves especially effective around docks. We offer the Eco Pro Tungsten Nail'Em Weights in three sizes: 1/32, 1/16 and 3/32oz. Quantity varies, please see the description below.
