The EGO Tournament Culling Beam is a fish culling device that provides certainty between the weights of two fish. Culling fish in tournaments can be challenging, especially when relying upon electronic scales. As accurate as many of the scales are, there's no truer and more accurate weigh of establishing which fish is heavier than using the simple balance beam. Putting both fish on the beam, anglers can quickly determine which of the two is heavier, cull the smaller fish and get right back to fishing. No writing down weights or looking back through stored entries in a scale. Typically, we recommend the culling beam as a supplement to the electronic scales as they help provide re-assurance that you are actually culling the fish you need to.
The EGO Tournament Culling Beam is constructed from a durable, 3/16" anodized aluminum plate and utilizes stainless steel fish clips. Laser etched details and a removable handle are nice added touches. A must have for any serious tournament bass fishermen.
