Daiwa’s new Zillion SV TW Casting Reels carry on the legacy of the Zillion tradition with an all new lower profile design. The Daiwa Zillion name has become synonymous with quality and performance within the bass fishing market and the most recent addition, the Zillion SV TW seeks to enhance it even further. When comparing the updated version to earlier models, the SV TW casting reels are engineered to be easier to palm and feel more natural on the lighter, smaller diameter trend in casting rods. While the size may have shrunk down, quality still abounds with performance features such as the T-Wing system which will reduce backlashes and increase casting distance. The secret to this design is the freedom of movement the reel affords the line as it releases from the spool. The line guide flips down when the thumb release pressed allowing the line more space to move during casts. Once the reel is engaged, the T flips back and the line is then threaded back on the spool through the narrow section ensuring the line will be distributed evenly.
The big change in this reel over the other Zillion models is the addition of the SV spool that improves castability of lightweight lures with little chance of backlashes. Furthermore, Daiwa added four corrosive resistance ball bearings for more durability and will also aid in casting and smoothness. Daiwa constructed the Zillion SV TW Casting Reels with aluminum frames and their own proprietary Zaion side cover which work together to establish a rigid, yet lightweight, foundation for the advanced gearing it houses. The use of a 90mm swept handle affords anglers more cranking power with comfort. Ultimate Tournament Drag provides 13.2lbs of max drag pressure, more than enough for fighting bass, stripers and other freshwater species of fish. The Daiwa Zillion SV TW Casting Reel is any tournament anglers dream, loaded with all the features you want and the sleek styling that separates Daiwa Reels from all others.
