New for 2015, the Daiwa Exceler EXE Spinning Reel has been updated with new performance features and a sleek design, yet still retains its affordable price. Comprised of an aluminum frame, the Exceler EXE Spinning Reel is light in weight, yet very strong and rigid. With the lightweight theme in mind, Daiwa utilized an advanced Air Rotor design which weighs approximately 15% less than the standard rotor designs. What's more, this rotor works in synergy with the five bearing system and Digigear gearing to offer smooth performance and a powerful force when fighting fish. Casting with the Exceler EXE Spinning Reel is as good as it gets due to the protrusion free air bail and silent oscillation system. The machine cut aluminum handle and oversized paddle offer a secure, strong grip that is ready to go to work against any beast you can catch.
We offer the Daiwa Exceler EXE Spinning Reels in six sizes: 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000 and 4000. The 1500, 2000 and 2500 possess a 6.0:1 gear ratio, 3000H (5.6:1), 3500H (5.7:1) and 4000H (5.7:1).
Made from Zaion carbon composite, the Air Rotor weighs up to 15% less than ordinary rotor designs. Its unique shape reduces unnecessary weight while distributing stress more evenly throughout the rotor for maximum strength.
Digital gear design ensures a perfect mesh between ultra-tough, surface treated alloy drive gear and marine bronze pinion gear for optimized speed, power and durability.
Hollow Air Bail is super strong yet light in weight, with no protrusions to snag line.
The ABS spool’s maximized core diameter and reversed taper mean 100% useable line. No “dead” line buried in a deep core. You can fill it with line right up to the edge of the spool lip without fear of tangles. The huge spool diameter lets line flow freely in larger coils and produces less line memory coil. Smaller spool diameter means line flows in tighter coils.
