Bull Shad Swimbaits Slow Sinking

Handcrafted in Georgia, the slow sinking Bull Shad Swimbaits are intended to mimic species of shad that bass feed upon all over the country. The Bull Shad possesses the profile of large shad that naturally become meals for some of the largest bass around the country, especially in bodies of water void of trout or hitch. The Bull Shad is not a highly refined, exquisitely detailed, finely finished bait that will swim out of its packaging to wow you with its realism. In fact, while the Bull Shad is quite the contrary it is exquisite in its own right. Instead of a super realistic imitation of a super clean and healthy baitfish, the Bull Shad resembles a beat up, harried, surviving by the ligament of its scales baitfish that’s led a hard life to get where it is today – tied to the end of your line waiting to be devoured.

When you first pickup a Bull Shad Swimbait, you'll notice the bait to have a little bit of a rough finish as mentioned above. The exterior has a dimpled texture pattern that mimics the fish’s scales and each bait comes with oversized, baitfish-like, 3-D eyes. Paint jobs on these baits are rather simple with a seemingly quick little airbrush appliqué of color on the top and sides of each bait – just enough to give each bait a flash of hue in the water. It is this no-nonsense, beat-up appearance that makes this bait so endearing. It is so rough that it’s artful and the fact it’s made to this degree of abuse simply by chance makes it all the more perfect. High quality components are used throughout including: The Slow Sinking Bull Shad Swimbaits sink at about a half foot per second.

We offer the Bull Shad Swimbaits Slow Sinking version in four sizes: 5" (Gizzard & Threadfin), 6" (Bone, Gizzard & Threadfin), 8" (Gizzard) and 9" (Gizzard). ROF - 1/2ft per second.

Great baits but serious QC issues June 29, 2017

These baits flat out catch fish, when you get a good one! I've had way too many issues with wrong sink rates, turning on their side and joint pins coming out. My last one was a blem but of course monster took care of me right away. The builder of these Triton Mike is also very helpful and will stand behind his product 100%

could have been....5 stars November 3, 2016

Great swimming bait, but I feel it should have been aired out before packaging...The clear coat most likely auto clear is very toxic and I had to set it outside for several days before use...
