For all of your heavy-duty applications, the Abu Garcia Maxtoro Casting Reels are low profile baitcaster reels that deliver high performance features specifically engineered for casting larger baits and fighting hard pulling fish. Utilizing Abu Garcia's Powerstack Carbon Matrix drag system, the Maxtoro provides users with 25lbs of drag which rates among the highest we've seen in the low-profile casting reel genre. This reel was definitely made with swimbait fishing, both freshwater and coastal saltwater, in mind. That focus is further evidenced by the high line capacity afforded by the Maxtoro: 12lb/240yd of standard monofilament. Constructed with a one piece graphite frame, the MaxToro is surprisingly compact and lightweight for the high line capacity and strong drag it offers.
