Designed by Forrest Wood Cup champion, Kevin Hawk, the 4x4 Signature Series Football Jig is a great bass fishing jig for fishing deeper water or ledges. 4x4 Jigs is widely known for their heavy cover jigs such as the Randall Tharp Flipping Jig and Heavy Hitter Jigs, but with influence from Hawk, they were able to scale down a bit and create an excellent football jig. This jig is constructed around a 4/0 extra-heavy Mustad hook with a medium-heavy fiber weedguard - a great combination for fishing standing timber, rockpiles or deep ledges.
