The Yum Pulse is a soft plastic, full bodied swimbait featuring a ribbed texture and paddle tail that generates a side to side roll and tail kicking swimming action. While there are a number of variables that anglers seek in a swimbait, the outstanding kicking action is what Yum focused on. With the fairly saturated market for soft plastic swimbaits, Yum was determined to bring something new to the table, a bait that had the action, but also possessed a profile that could be used for multiple applications - the result is the Yum Pulse Swimbait.
When you first look at the Pulse, you'll notice ribbing along the side of the body. These ridges are what generates the seductive side to side roll and gives life to the bait when swam at any speed or rigged with any method. The other noticeable trait of this swimbait is the thinner profile it possesses. The slimmer design affords use as a trailer behind a spinnerbait, vibrating or swim jig making it the perfect choice for mimicking all types of forage species. As some may recall, Yum Baits pro Jason Christie used the Pulse Swimbait on the back of his spinnerbait admitting it was probably his new favorite trailer due to the action is delivered and the balance it gave to his big 3/4 and 1oz bladed baits. When used on it's own, the Pulse Swimbait's tail kicking action will actually be detectable and is a great tool determine bites from fish swimming with the bait.
