The Roboworm Zipper Grub is a neat finesse bait that features rigid "zipper" edges. The Zipper Grub is a great drop-shot bait or jig trailer and can be deadly when used on a split shot rig. The split-shot technique is best used with a size 2/0 medium wire Roboworm Rebarb hook and a small pinch on gremlin weight placed approximately 18" up the line. This technique is extremely effective when fishing for spotted bass in cold water. Roboworm is the creator of the original Zipper Worms, one of the most copied baits in history. The prominent "ribs" along the length of the Roboworm Zipper Worm, provide many benefits. Aside from giving the bait a bulkier appearance, the ribs displace a significant amount of water, creating a big disturbance, and attracting bass from greater distances.
