The Owner Ringed Mutu Hook 5163R is a ringed circle hook designed for live bait applications when targeting saltwater species of fish. Super strong, stainless welded rings create a pivot point in the eye of each hook. The 5163R Ringed Mutu Hook not only allows rigged live baits to swim more naturally, but with the force of a direct pull, the ring actually reduces stress on the hook, making the overall unit stronger. And, because the hook will pivot as you fight an active fish, you can continually apply pressure from the same direction so you don't wear a large hole in the fish's mouth.
Perhaps the most renowned feature of the Owner Ringed Mutu hook is the hangnail style of hook point. The unique hook point is designed to slide out of the gullet of the fish and penetrate the corner of the mouth upon hookset.
