A specialty rod designed to fish large summer-run
steelhead rivers and late summer/early fall low-water conditions in coastal
streams for salmon. It fishes optimally with 10-pound line, giving you a little
better leverage on big fish, but still allows you to downsize for clear water
situations. It has the power to handle a 20-pound silver or chum and still let
you drop down to 6-pound test if you need to. A good all-around drift rod. |
