We designed this rod for fishing small baits and
leadhead jigs in clear rivers and lakes, where a shorter rod is beneficial for
both accuracy and presentation. It's also a good choice for vertical jigging
over brush piles for crappie in deep water. The magnum taper (meaning the tip's
light and the butt's very strong) gives the rod a little more versatility and
allows you to use a wider variety of lures. If there were such a thing as a
"magnum ultra-light," this would be it. |
