 A two-piece, fast-action plug and back-bounce rod with plenty of power. Designed for use in the big rivers of Alaska for trophy Chinook salmon, this rod works well in light saltwater conditions, as well. If you're after really big salmon, this is a pretty fair drift rod, with more than enough backbone for shoreline fishing. But it really shines back-trolling large plugs like Kwikfish or Wiggle Warts.
