I have 5 new rods, these rods are light, very well built, senstitive, light and the color is awesome! I do alot of finesse fishing and the shakey head rod is the best of the best. The sensitivity of that spinning rod will help you feel the bites when fishing is tough. The Crankin' stick feels flimsy, but dont judge until you put a reel on it and throw a medium diver for a day, or boat flip a 5lb spotted bass. you will be sold on this product as am I.

These rods are freakin awesome...but, there's a little problem, you see I have contacted Wright and Mcgill about it and I get no response, But first let me start off by giving the guys from Monster Tackle their props for outstanding customer service, that's why I keep coming back, so back to my gripe, and these guys know what I'm talking about...I waited for the first run of these rods to come out...and I'm not gonna lie but the price point had to do alot with it, and the fact that the "Killer Bee" himself, the California Boy Skeet was going to use the exact same product being sold out in stores was just the clincher....but you see just because it's a 90 $ rod, does that mean that we the consumers dont expect quality ? don't get me wrong...the rod as far as sensitivity and power are great, Im talking about the workmanship and the quality control the company making these rods lack...its found up and down the blank. The guides are the problem, the guides are either crooked, off center

I purchased the 8ft flip/pitch and the 7ft Crank series.
The 8ft flip/pitch is as stiff as a mop handle. If you don't use a 1oz or heavier weight, you're buying the wrong rod. More than 3/4 of the rod is very, very stiff. Really you can only use it for what it's labled for; flipping or pitching.
The 7ft Cranking rod is an excellent rod for it's intended purpose. It can also be used as a skipping rod if you're fishing docks or trying to get under the overhangs. This rod will launch your cranks as long as you have the right reel to pair it with. I have a Pro Qualifier and they marry together perfect.
The color scheme on these rods are what make them stand out when fishing. Ya'll know when the Carrot's were first hitting the water.....everybody wanted one. Now you see Blue, Maroon, PINK and Green rods. The Yellow makes many guys double-take at the ramp!!
