Today's modern crayfish crank bait may be crayfish colored….. but they don't look like or even swim like an actual crayfish. When legendary angler, T. V. host and lure designer Larry Dahlberg approached River2Sea about making an actual crayfish crank bait that has the actions and mannerisms of a "real" crayfish, they knew bass fishermen every-where would jump on the bandwagon!

The appearance of the Dahlberg Clackin Crayfish isn't the only ultra-realistic aspect of the lure. The lure's action is also dead on. The Clackin’ Crayfish amazing hinged lip moves the water to move the lure forward exactly like a real crayfish. During the free fall, the lure sinks with an action that mimics a crayfish as well. The Clackin' Crayfish from River2Sea is available in two sizes: the 90 and 130. The 90 size measures 3.5" and the 130 size comes in at a full 5". The Clackin' Crayfish presents a variety of color patterns to match the ever changing hues of native crayfish species from their darkest blacks and blues of the winter to their bright red appearance during the early spring. With the help of preeminent crayfish specialists in the US, River2Sea worked on getting these colors right in every detail. River2Sea combined the hard body with a soft plastic head that features reinforced claws which float while the lure is at rest. The aesthetics of the Clackin' Crayfish are complimented by the premium hardware. The use of River2Sea's own 2X strong, black nickel 5/0 "big bite" hook ensures the violent strikes turn into legendary battles. Each lure comes with an additional soft head trailer. We also offer replacement packs of 2 for anglers who have worn through their baits and likely their thumbs in the process. Additionally, some of the head colors can be replaced with other alike colored tails to make entirely new combinations
