I got one of these reels in 2008. I spooled it with 20lb. test braid and have it on a 6'6" med. action rod. It quickly became my go to spinning rig. I especially like throwing soft plastics with this rig. The reel is amazingly smooth. I never have a line twist problem with it. The drag is very efficient. With so many reels today commanding big buck prices, this Quantum Array is a steal!! By the way I have the Array 20. I will soon buy another which I will put on a 7' ML rod for throwing light weight lures to my favorite fish...the smallmouth. Do not hesitate to buy this reel.
