The Osprey Solid Talon Swimbait is a solid, soft-plastic swimbait that maintains the same profile and action as the original Osprey baits in a smaller size. The Osprey Solid Talon, although relatively new to the market, is already among the most popular swimbait for the umbrella rig technique. The subtle tail kick accurately mimics many types of forage fish that big bass feed upon and when matched with the additional swimbaits the setup matches schools of bait fish down to the "T". The most ideal setup includes a 1/4-3/8oz swimbait jig head that possesses a 4/0 or 5/0 hook. Thread the swimbait on the hook and apply a small dab of superglue to the back of the jig head. Finally, press and hold the swimbait against the jig head for a few seconds and you will have created a durable option for fishing in, around and under the docks that are known for holding big bass during the summer months.
