Optimum MLT Rat'N Rat Topwater

The MLT Rat'N Rat is a hollow body topwater mouse lure designed for bass fishing applications. Optimum Baits designed this bait to accurately mimic the small rodents that often find their way into the water, but rarely make it back out. When bass are buried in vegetation they often look to the surface to ambush their prey; among those targets include frogs, birds and rodents. The Rat'n Rat possesses a lifelike action and appearance attracting vicious strikes. This rat lure features twin blades and a long soft plastic tail which create flash attraction and leave a wake trail not commonly seen with topwater frog lures. The use of a fixed-line eye is optimal for hooksets and ensures you will drive the hook home sufficiently. Additionally, the lure is back weighted affording better castability and it keeps the lure in the water even when worked over grass mats.
