Lucky Craft Bulldog Wakebait

The Lucky Craft Big Bait Special Bulldog is a large profile wakebait that mimics big bluegill and brim that are often a favorite meal of big bass.  The Lucky Craft Bulldog is an accurate bluegill replica in both size and action. It comes with two different tails, the prop tail and a spinner blade tail.  The Bulldog is pictured below next to a Pointer 100 to put the size into perspective. The Bulldog is a larger wakebait that really shines when given a quick jerk to spin the lure around.  Anglers have reported good results on the Delta when the lure is retrieved slowly creating only a slight ripple on the surface. Loud internal rattles offer another attractant for helping bass find the vulnerable floating lure. Best results will be achieved when bass are keyed in on bluegill, usually during the summer bluegill spawn. During that time you will find bedding bluegill littering the shoreline, but may not see the bass who prey upon this. It's been found those bass actually place themselves 5-10 feet away and wait for the easiest meal they can attack; that's when the Bulldog goes to work.
