The Lake Fork Tackle Live Magic Shad is a uniquely designed soft plastic swimbait that mimics the action and appearance of several types of forage fish. The shad has an incredible action that is created by the "notches" in the plastic. Without the benefit of a bootail, the Magic Shad captures the real life motions of a fleeing baitfish. The most common methods of use include simply rigging the bait on a screw lock swimbait hook or attaching it as a chatterbait trailer. When used as a chatterbait trailer anglers have the option of removing the skirt completely to create a entirely new swimbait/chatterbait hybrid lure.
