Hopkins Shorty Spoon

The Hopkins Shorty Spoon is a spoon style lure that mimics the action and appearance of a dying shad. The spooning technique yields best results when bass are feeding upon shad. Simply locate the schools of shad and drop the spoon down vertically. Once the spoon has reached the bottom, present the bait with quick pumps upward of the rod tip and follow the lure back down throughout its decent. Most strikes will occur as it slowly falls.
