The Daiwa T3 Ballistic Casting Reel is a premium casting reel with high quality components and a sleek design. The T3 Ballistic Reel is loaded with premium features. The T-Wing system is the new cast control that allows the line release from the spool in an a more efficient manner for extended casts. The Magforce 3d cast control system is designed to allow more freedom in choosing the correct drag for the situation. With three different ranges of magnetic breaking anglers will find they will experience less backlash and more casting accuracy when tuned correctly. The ergonomic handle and low profile make palming this reel all day an easy task. The finish of the reel gives it a futuristic look, similar to many of Daiwa's other products. The T3 Ballistic features a Zaion black marble finish with a red spool. The T3 Ballistic Reel comes in both left and right hand models in a 6.3:1 or 7.1:1 gear speed.

I have not had a chance to fish with it yet, but it feels pretty good pitching a jig in the house.  The hood closure will help when pitching.  It's not as smooth as a Zillion, but I think I'll be satisfied with the performance.
