The Berkley Havoc Devil's Spear is a uniquely shaped soft plastic bait intended to be used for bass fishing applications. The Devil's Spear from Berkley's Havoc line of soft plastic baits was designed by professional bass angler Mike Iaconelli. The Devil's Spear at first glance, is like no other bait you've ever seen before - it's shape is quite interesting with no real natural appearance. Interestingly, many anglers believe its ambiguous appearance actually resembles a general look that encompasses many species of forage fish bass prey upon. The universal appeal allows anglers to use the bait year round during the different feeding cycles of bass.
Mike Iaconelli designed, The Devil Spear has a segmented tail that results in wild flapping or whipping action on the fall and retrieve. Since it doesn’t have any appendages it can be fished easily even in extremely heavy cover. It’s a great bait for flipping, pitching and punching with Texas & Carolina rigs. We've also been informed that the Devil's Spear makes a great chatterbait trailer due to its vibration emitted by the segmented tail. The Berkley Havoc Devil's Spear is 4" in length and comes 8 per pack.
Berkley innovation together with professional bass angler experience has created a new series of soft baits.
