The "Ike Approved" series of hooks from VMC were designed with he help of 2003 Bassmaster Classic Champion Mike Iaconelli. The wacky hook was designed for wacky worm techniques typically employing a stick bait or trick worm. VMC's wacky hook is a short shank round bend hook which is ideal for holding the soft plastic baits in place without sacrificing any of the natural action of the bait. The wide gap design ensures the hook will penetrate through the plastic and into the fish's jaw. Additionally the hook's eye has been completely closed with resin which eliminates line fray or slippage. We offer the VMC "Ike Approved" Wacky Hook in seven sizes: 4, 2, 1, 1/0, 2/0, 3/0 & 4/0.
