Displaying beautiful finishes, the Lunkerhunt Fillet is lipless crankbait lure designed to mimic forage species that predatory fish feed upon. Even for bass fisherman are well versed in lipless crankbaits, the Lunkerhunt Fillet might be something that catches their eye. Visually stunning, the Lunkerhunt Fillet is engineered to sit nose down in the water allowing anglers to retrieve the lure at any rate of speed and still get the same light wobbling, rattling action. Measuring 3" in length, Lunkerhunt's sinking rattlebait presents a proper sized meal that a number of species are looking for. Internally, the Fillet houses rattles that emit loud, high pitch sounds through the water as a means of calling attention to its presence. Once fish come anywhere close, they will be stimulated by the shiny, detailed finishes that accurately mimic a number of forage such as shad, craws and bream among others.
Retrieving the Fillet can be done in any number of ways. A straight retrieve is never a bad place to start - switch up winding speeds and mix in a few pauses to draw reaction strikes. Fishing lipless crankbaits through grass is another popular technique. It takes a bit of practice to understand the right situation and the feel of the lure hanging in vegetation, but once you get that first vicious strike you'll be totally hooked... so to speak. Finally, a yo-yo technique, like you might use with jigs, is another productive method of fishing the Lunkerhunt Fillet. Toss is around rocks and slowly work it up, over and through.
